Design Process – in 6 phases

Kickoff & Strategy
We get to know each other and define what this brand needs to achieve. Goals, values and target audiences are not assumed, but worked out together. The result is a foundation that every further decision builds on.

Research & Analysis
It's all about checking out the environment the brand has to operate in. Who are the competitors? How does the industry communicate? What do the people we're trying to reach expect? This phase helps us see where there's room to carve out your own unique position.

Concept & Direction
From the analysis, first visual directions emerge that start to speak. We work with moodboards and sketches to find out which approach fits the personality of the brand. Only when the direction feels right, the actual design begins.

Design &
Systems
This is where the design takes shape: logo, color, typography and the rules that govern how they work together. Every decision is made to function across different contexts. The result is not a single element, but a system.

Use & Application
The system is applied to concrete formats. Whether website, print or social media, the brand stays recognizable. We think in applications from the start, so the design not only looks good but works in everyday life.

Handover
& Support
You receive all final files, a style guide and templates if needed. The style guide explains how everything works together, so the brand stays consistent on its own. We stay in touch, and we're here when you're ready to grow.

How does the collaboration work?

We work in clearly defined phases: from kick-off and strategy through concept and design to the final handover. Everything is documented in a shared Notion file, so you always have an overview.

The collaboration is personal and built on real exchange. I give you art direction and help you bring your vision into focus, so the branding at the end actually feels like you.

Do I work directly with you, or with a team?

Your direct contact is always Sabrina Holtz, the founder of Studio Green Velvet. Depending on the scope of your project, I work as a collective with experts I personally know and whose work I trust. For you that means: short paths, a shared vision, and the right know-how for every phase of your project.

What does it cost to work together?

Branding is more than a beautiful logo. It is the foundation that trust is built on, the base for recognition and for winning clients.

Branding agencies usually charge between EUR 12,000 and EUR 25,000 for this. At Studio Green Velvet, projects start at EUR 3,500, because we believe good aesthetics and brand building should not belong only to large companies.

When is the right
time for branding?

Honestly, almost always. But there are two moments where it has the biggest impact. The first is the beginning. If you start out with a clear visual presence from day one, you build trust faster and pull in the right people from the start.

The second is the turning point. You have been on the market for a while, but your branding no longer reflects who you are today. Your values have sharpened, your positioning too. Only the visual identity stayed behind. At that point, rebranding is not a luxury, it is a logical next step.

What do I actually get at the end?

At the end of our collaboration, you have a complete brand system in your hands. That means: your logo in all the variants and formats you need, a defined color world, typography, design elements and brand guidelines that explain how everything is used. Clear and structured. You can use your brand consistently from day one, whether on Instagram, your website or a business card.

What do I need to get started?

Less than you might think. You do not need a finished strategy, a clear picture of your logo or an answer to every question. What you bring is your business, your story and an idea of where the journey should go. We work out the rest together in the kick-off.

Do you also do just a logo, without the full package?

No, and there is a reason for that. A logo on its own is like a single sentence with no story behind it. It can be beautiful, but it carries no meaning. We always develop a complete system, because only that works long term and creates real impact. If you are not sure which scope fits you, we can talk it through in the free discovery call.

Do you only do branding?
